Ski and Snowboard in Jahorina

Jahorina is a mere 28 km/ 45 minute drive from Sarajevo. It offers 20km of slopes waiting to be discovered and 8 major chair lifts, ensuring that you will be spoiled for choice. The highest peak Ogorjelica, is at 1916m above sea level and the highest ski-lift is at 1894m. The climate is very exceptional when it comes to mountain ski resorts.  It tends to be less harsh due to the winds coming in from the Mediterranean making it a very different experience. Despite the usual sunny skies, the mountain is covered in snow from October to April leaving you with a greater time-span to pick your ski holiday.

There are restaurants and bars dotted all around the mountain which offer fresh food all day long, especially the popular grills, and now until the night ski sessions are over. You are able to feast from anything from £1 to £7.

20km/ £7 to rent skis or snowboards per day

Ski Passes
25km/ £8 to get a daily ski pass, 45km/ £15 for 2 days, 65km/ £21 for 3 days, 90km/ £30 for 4 days, 110km/ £37 for 5 days, 130km/ £43 for 6 days and 140km/ £47 for 7 days.

Ski Lessons      
20km/ £7 for 1 lesson for one person
30km/ £10 for 1 lesson for two people
40km/ £14 for 1 lesson for three people
60km/ £20 per person, for a bigger group of people for 5 days of lessons two times per day

Recently night skiing has been introduced for those of you wishing to take advantage of all the potential skiing you could do at a price of 12km/ £4.

Prices of list passes:

1. seasonal period price is between 495,00 KM – 300,00 KM. 1EUR=1,95583KM
2. daily ticket 20,00-25,00KM
3. night 12,00-15,00KM

Rent of ski equipment is about 20,00 KM
There are school for ski instructions and price is 180,00-250,00 KM per weekend
