- The population before the war, 12 years ago, was above 4.3 million
and now there us about 3.8 million with 1 million Bosnians living abroad.
- The ratio of the different ethnic backgrounds is roughly the same as
pre-war; Bosnian Muslims (Bosniaks) 44%, Bosnian Serbs 32%, Bosnian
Croats 17% and 7% are Yugoslavs, Albanians, Roma’s and others.
- Sarajevo population is roughly 297, 416 at 141, 5 km².
