Price: FROM £700 per person* This programme called KANJOJ RAKITNICE / RAKITNICA CANYON is for everyone who likes extreme adventure. Canyon of the river Rakitnica begins under mountains Bjelasnica and Treskavica and it is 21,5 km long. Start of this adventure is in Lukomir village on 1500m altitude, 45km east from Sarajevo. Canyon is, on some points, 500m deep, and on the other, only 2m wide. It is dangerous canyon but it gives you the chance for hiking, mountain climbing, swimming, diving, rafting and fishing. During adventure participants sleep in sleeping bags and they eat only what they bring with themselves and what they catch. The end of the canyon is on 300m altitude and it is located on the delta of river Rakitnica in Neretva river. This programme is ideal chance to check your psychophysical abilities and to became author of beautiful photo-safari. Rakitnica canyon is protected nature park and it is listed in Guinness book. It is risk taking programme so organizer provides two professional guides, rafing equipment and antidote for snake bites.Participants have to have their own hiking equipment: sleping bag, backpack and clothes.This programme include maximum 10 people, plus supporting crew. Day 1: Arrival in Sarajevo. Accomodation in hotel RIMSKI MOST(***). Visit to old town Bascarsija. Dinner in the resturant PARK PRINCEVA. Return to the hotel. Day 2: Breakfast. Meeting with the professional guides. Transfer to village Lukomir on the Bjelasnica mountain. Beginning of adventure. Meal and sleeping somewhere in canyon. Day 3: Travel down the canyon
Day 4: Morning in the canyon. Before noon arrival to the delta of Rakitnica in the Neretva river. Rafting down the Neretva (4 hours long). Arrival to Konjic town. Lunch in AVLIJA. Visit to wood cutter company Niksic. Return to the hotel Rimski most in Sarajevo. Day 5: Breakfast. Transfer to Visoko town. Visit to historic findings of Bosnian Pyramid of Sun and Moon. Lunch in natural ambiance near the river Bosnia. Return to the hotel. Visit to Thermal riviera - swimming pools, massage... In the evening barbecue in the hotel garden. Day 6: Breakfast. Transfer to the Sarajevo airport.
